It’s your story. We’re here to help you tell it. Thomas Martin Design &Build is a design and build firm with a primary focus on design driven projects. Our founders have completed over 200 projects ranging from a 7,000 sqft brewery, to award-winning restaurants, to multi-story Brownstone renovations to premium. Our work has taken us all over America with concepts ranging from Millwork installation to historic restoration to brewery equipment installation.
As a passionate team of craftsmen, designers, builders, and makers we use the Apollo Method to chart a course for each project producing designs that firmly grounded in the reality of production and installation while also reaching for each clients Moonshot. We have an innate respect for the materials we work with and use them in thoughtful and creative applications.
DESIGN
Complete drawing sets for each phase, including all room types; FF+E matrixes and specs for each phase; schematic and 3D renderings; conceptual sketches, material boards, and presentations to communicate our design concept; and millwork drawings.
DESIGN AND PROTOTYPE FABRICATION
We are well versed in what it takes to get ideas made and how to communicate with all trades on a project. Through our own experience as fabricators and finishers our fabrication shop can also produce custom millwork and installations for your project. Alternatively we can also create a clear path and process for a client’s builder and equip them to take our design and scale it to your needs.
OWNER’S REPRESENTATIVE
Our prior experience as general contractors and project managers puts us in a truly unique position to offer Owner’s Representative services for the projects we design. Our team can skillfully navigate the complex role of balancing design intent with the budget while monitoring the project timeline. We can communicate with other design professionals as easily as with subcontractors to accomplish the project, while continuing to keep the Owner’s best interests at the forefront of the process.
